About Us
The Black Wellness Group intentionally curates holistic healing experiences through mental health therapy, gentle yoga sessions, and self-care writing. 1-on-1 therapy sessions are available for corporate and nonprofit C-suite level executives in-person and virtually. Private and group gentle yoga sessions are open for people who are seeking rest, relaxation, and restoration. Self-care affirmation card decks are written for those who want to supplement their holistic wellness practices. The Black Wellness Group is here to support you on your path to peace, joy, and clarity.
Meet The Owner
Julius is a mental health enthusiast, entrepreneur, and executive. He's a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Private Practice Therapist. He received his Masters degree in Social Work, a graduate-level Certificate in Human Services Management, and an undergraduate degree in Communication. Mr. Boatwright has been recognized by Mental Health America, the NAACP, and Black Enterprise. Julius was also featured on media platforms such as Forbes, TEDx, and NBC. Above all, he wants you to know that you're loved, valued, and appreciated.
"As an entrepreneur, executive, and business owner, I have an extensive set of experiences with how to positively manage stress in workplace settings. As the go-to person in crises leadership and management situations, I've successfully overcome many challenges related to coping with anxiety. As a professional who challenges themselves to consistently strive for excellence in such a demanding field, I've overcome burnout on multiple occasions. With that being said, my holistic mental health, self-care, and wellness routines have proven to be invaluable to my success. Through weekly talk therapy sessions, I've learned how to effectively process my emotions before making critical, bottom-line decisions. My personal gentle yoga practice has helped me to heal deep-seated trauma that lived in my body for decades. Writing has also played a major role in strengthening my healing journey. I believe that all of these experiences have positioned me to support you with the utmost care, compassion, and confidence".

You Deserve to Heal
As a teacher, I'm deeply inspired to cultivate an environment where we can tap into a sense of non-striving, restoration, and self-compassion. I've discovered that gentle yoga has consistently opened up my mind, body, and spirit to a depth of healing that I never knew existed. With that being said, I'd be humbled and honored to share this experience with anyone who's ready.
